Pointcloud output format?

Hi! Just got my modules today. Super excited! I’ve gotten the Python API working and I’m plotting point clouds. Works great to show the sensor is, well, sensing something. But I’m not used to radar data yet, and I’m not sure if I’m actually plotting this right.

Quick question though: in the manual, it says that the point cloud format is polar (distance, elevation, azimuth); but in API docs, it seems to imply Cartesian coordinates (x, y, z). Which is it?

Oh, I see! z is the vertical axis; you treat y as depth.

Yes, X is in the plane of the sensor, Y is distance away from the sensor and Z is vertical.
